The Take My Hand Foundation connects first responders and their families to trusted, vetted support resources so no one has to navigate crisis, trauma, or transition alone.
We serve as a centralized referral and navigation network, helping individuals find the right support with clarity, dignity, and care.
Why We Exist
For many first responders and their families, finding help can feel overwhelming. Resources exist — but knowing where to turn, who to trust, and how to take the first step is often the hardest part.
The Take My Hand Foundation was created to bridge that gap.
Rather than duplicating services, we strengthen the support ecosystem by connecting people to organizations that specialize in the help they need.

Our Leadership & Governance
The Take My Hand Foundation is led by a Founder and Executive Director and governed by an independent Board of Directors.
Our board provides strategic oversight, financial accountability, and ethical guidance, while day-to-day operations are managed by the Executive Director.
Advisory councils made up of first responders and subject-matter experts provide insight and feedback without governing authority.
This structure ensures transparency, accountability, and long-term sustainability.
