Stronger Together
The Take My Hand Foundation works alongside trusted nonprofit and service partners to help first responders and their families access the support they need.
How We Work With Partners
The Take My Hand Foundation does not duplicate services or compete with existing organizations. Instead, we serve as a centralized referral and navigation hub, helping individuals find the right support at the right time.
We partner with organizations that share our commitment to ethical, respectful, and trauma-informed care.
Our goal is simple: make it easier for people to find and access the help that already exists.
Our Partner Network Includes:
-
Mental health and counseling organizations
-
Peer support and mentoring programs
-
Substance recovery and wellness organizations
-
Financial and legal assistance providers
-
Family, transition, and resilience programs
We maintain a diverse network to meet a wide range of needs.
How We Vet Our Partners
To protect those seeking support, we work only with organizations that meet our standards for professionalism, ethics, and accountability.

Our vetting process considers:
-
Mission alignment and scope of services
-
Ethical and trauma-informed practices
-
Confidentiality and data protection
-
Willingness to accept warm referrals
-
Ongoing communication and feedback
Partners are reviewed periodically to ensure continued alignment.
What Partnership Looks Like
-
Warm referrals when appropriate
-
Clear communication and consent-based information sharing
-
Respect for each organization’s scope and expertise
-
No exclusivity or obligation
-
Shared commitment to dignity and care
We value collaboration built on trust, not transactions.
